Rollfast Foundation Partners with RemedyLIVE to Close the Gap on Suicide

INDIANAPOLIS – July 1, 2018 – The Rollfast Foundation is honored to have partnered with RemedyLIVE to continue their mission to “Close the Gap” on teen and adult suicide.

With a generous donation, The Rollfast Foundation can fulfill its mission to fund programs and remove the stigma associated with suicide. The Rollfast Foundation now has the funding to print 300,000 life saving Action Cards and distribute them in our communities with vital information for immediate help. A place where anonymity,  transparency and raw confession can be heard. A place where there is compassion. Heart. A hand. Anyone who needs help, will have a network of SoulMedic listeners that provide a confidential and honest conversation.

RollfastLIVE is a free chat service where people can text ROLL to 494949 anytime 24/7.

“We are dedicated to offering people  an avenue to reach out to others for guidance before tragedy strikes again”, said Chris Burd Tanner. “ The Action Cards will have a positive and trackable impact both locally and nationally.”

The Rollfast Foundation will continue to raise funds for the future growth of this program. Every day there is a someone who needs this vital information to survive.

Thursday, October 11 The Rollfast Foundation will host its first Roll Out of Darkness Banquet at the Wellington in Fishers Indiana. The fundraising event will feature internationally known, keynote speaker Kevin Hines. In September 2000, Hines survived jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge in a suicide attempt. Hines will share his story of how he has since fostered a critical bridge of hope between life and death. The emcee for the evening will be Indiana’s own local TV anchor from WISH-TV, Drew Blair. Individual seats are available as well as full table and other sponsorships. Reserve a seat, table or donate at https://rollfast.us/rollfast-foundation/roll-out-of-darkness/roll-out-of-darkness-banquet/.

About Kevin Hines
In September 2000, Kevin Hines leapt off the Golden Gate Bridge, a method of suicide attempt that has resulted in death for most of the 2000 people who have made that jump since the bridge was erected in 1937. But Kevin survived.

Even further, Hines, in sharing his story, is fostering a critical bridge of hope between life and death for people caught in the pain of living with serious mental illness, difficult life circumstances, and more.

His refreshing honesty, realism, advocacy, and appreciation of the complex conditions that contribute to mental illness is a much-needed guiding like through the darkness of societal stigma and discrimination.
